Emissions
BOUNERGY has a clear understanding of the environmental impact of its business on the environment. Therefore, it formulates comprehensive environmental policy to manage the discharge of various pollutants. Relevant control procedures have been developed for wastewater, exhaust gases and solid wastes, etc. The operation processes are closely monitored and innovative technology is actively pursued for continuous improvement of environmental performance.

Control of wastewater discharge
BOUNERGY has effectively controlled the industrial wastewater and domestic sewage generated by the activities, products and services of BOUNERGY, and also formulated the “Sewage Treatment Operating Procedure” for handling wastewater properly. The production plants of BOUNERGY have installed an internal sewage treatment facility to handle the wastewater generated by BOUNERGY and to ensure the compliance with discharge limit before release to the external sewage system.

Control of exhaust gases
BOUNERGY also controls gas emissions effectively to prevent the impact on the environment from atmospheric pollutants generated during operation. The production plants are equipped with a comprehensive exhaust gas treatment system. Processes that are likely to cause exhaust gases, fumes and dusts are operating under exhaust ventilation facilities, through which exhaust gases, fumes and dusts are channeled in ducts into the treatment facilities. These facilities include fume purifier, dust collector, fume neutralizer/purifier, etc. Gas emission is allowed to discharge to the external environment only when they comply with the requirements of internal monitoring and those requirements stipulated by the emission permit.

Reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) generation
In addition to emission control of the aforesaid air pollutants, BOUNERGY is striving to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) generation in its operation. BOUNERGY is actively expanding the use of clean energy to reduce GHG coming from the conventional power generation, such as by promotion of solar energy projects. Living areas within the operation boundaries (such as bathrooms and canteens in the dormitories) have fully switched from the use of coal to natural gas for reducing GHG drastically.

Control of solid wastes
BOUNERGY has established waste classification system. Wastes are recycled as much as possible or disposed timely if they could not be reused. Wastes shall be disposed in a controlled manner and also waste handling vendors are contracted on the specified requirements for handling of general wastes.
For solid wastes, BOUNERGY classifies them firstly into two main categories according to their hazards: hazardous wastes and non-hazardous wastes, which are further divided into four sub-groups based on the recyclability. Solid waste includes those liquid and gas wastes which are stored in containers and not directly discharged to external waters and atmosphere, for example: waste oil and waste cleaning solvent in container.
Use of Resources
Resource Conservation
We are committed to reducing the daily consumption of electricity, water, and paper across our operations. By introducing energy-efficient production equipment, optimizing lighting and ventilation systems, and implementing digital workflows, we cut down on unnecessary waste. Smart water management and paperless office practices further strengthen our efforts to conserve valuable resources.

Human Care
We believe that the responsible use of resources is closely connected to the well-being of people. Our commitment goes beyond technology and production to embrace care for employees, communities, and society at large. Within the workplace, we promote a safe and healthy environment, encourage growth through training and development, and foster a culture of respect and inclusion. Beyond our facilities, we dedicate resources to education, healthcare, and public welfare programs that improve quality of life for local communities. Through these efforts, we aim to ensure that sustainability is not only about the environment, but also about creating shared value for people.

Sustainable Supply Chain
Our responsibility extends beyond our own facilities. We collaborate with partners to build a responsible and transparent supply chain, emphasizing ethical sourcing and environmentally friendly logistics. By establishing recycling channels and working closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders, we aim to create a circular economy in which resources are used efficiently and sustainably across the industry.
